For the last years my mother has collected a lot of porcelain, I have my own collection but mainly consisting of Moomin mugs, however there is one collection in particular that has influenced these horses a lot and it is Arabia´s Pastoraali collection. I surprised my mum with a gorgeous serving platter many years ago to match the vase and have since then adored that particular collection with the vert distinct linework which eventually turned into these beautiful horses…
Handpainted wooden dalahorses on swedish wood covered in 2-3 layers of resin.
Each dalahorse is painted with a flower design and has multiple resin layers on both sides.
Size: aprox. 7×6cm
1cm thick.

When working with resin small bubbles and impurities can occur - I have done my best to avoid it as much as possible! Keep out of direct sunlight as resin can yellow with time by UV-light.
